La Gassinère, located in the heart of Gassin, is the oldest house in the village. Dating from 1422, it’s celebrating its 600th anniversary!
Nestled at an altitude of 200m, the highest point of the Saint-Tropez peninsula, classified vineyards, lush Mediterranean vegetation and dream beaches are all on offer.
After you park your car in the free village car park, Elisabeth Vaillé and Philippe Roux will welcome you to their art gallery and their atypical private guest rooms.
Completely renovated and decorated by the owners, they have two comfortable rooms, located on the first floor of the house. Breakfast and dinner can be served in the Salon des Maures or on the roof terrace.
People come here to recharge their batteries, to slow down and to enjoy an exceptional view with a unique panorama.
La Gassinière and its owners mix modernity and nostalgia for the crazy years of the Tropez, to the sound of Brigitte Bardot’s singing and Manitas De Plata’s guitar. They share their travel memories, between India and the Camargue, in a “cool luxury” atmosphere where they cultivate a certain Art de Vivre.
From La Gassinière, ideally located between the villages of Saint-Tropez, Ramatuelle and Gigaro, you can enjoy these mythical beaches, festive or wild, and discover the customs path with its blue waters and its exceptional coastline, on a romantic or sporty walk.
